Currently, hydrogen energy has important applications in transportation, industry, and construction. As a globally recognized clean energy, hydrogen energy is expected to become an alternative to clean fuels.

For this round of new industrial opportunities, Dongguan is not far behind. As a result, Dongfeng New Energy Equipment Industrialization Project came into being.

The reporter learned that the project is invested and constructed by Dongguan Dongfeng New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. It mainly develops and produces new energy equipment and application products, and promotes hydrogen fuel cells and hydrogen power equipment and their application products (stratospheric airships, drones, vehicles. ) industrialization.

It is understood that this project covers an area of ​​77,914.128 square meters (about 117 acres), with a total construction area of ​​about 140,000 square meters. The main construction contents include the production of hydrogen energy equipment and its application products, assembly plants, administrative office buildings, and dormitory facilities. etc., the total investment is about 700 million yuan.

As for the progress of the project, Wang Lei, deputy general manager of Dongfeng New Energy, told reporters that the design and adjustment of the overall planning scheme have been completed.

The annual output value is expected to exceed 1.5 billion yuan

Previously, the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration organized the formulation of the "Energy Technology Revolution Innovation Action Plan (2016-2030)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Action Plan"), and deployed 15 key tasks such as hydrogen energy and fuel cell technology innovation , and planned the development roadmap of hydrogen fuel cells. According to the Action Plan, hydrogen fuel cells are expected to achieve large-scale applications within five years.

Wang Lei introduced to reporters that after the construction of the industrialization base, the production and assembly costs of hydrogen power equipment and its application products can be effectively reduced, and at the same time, the quality (consistency and reliability) and production efficiency of hydrogen power equipment and its application products can be improved. These are all prerequisites for the industrialization of hydrogen energy.

After the completion of the Dongfeng New Energy Equipment Industrialization Project, Dongfeng New Energy will accelerate the exploration of hydrogen energy industrialization through in-depth cooperation with well-known domestic research institutes, and promote Dongguan's participation in the international competition of the hydrogen energy industry.

The reporter learned that after the project is completed and put into full production, it is expected to produce thousands of hydrogen power equipment annually, and can be equipped with thousands of sets of hydrogen power equipment application products (stratospheric airships, drones and vehicles), and the annual output value is expected to be It can reach more than 1.5 billion yuan, and the annual tax revenue is more than 100 million yuan.
