Installation of VR series servo reducer
■Procedures for installing the motor
When the customer installs the servo motor by himself, please install it according to the following essentials. There are various sizes of servo motors. Except for the specified products, some motors may not be able to connect to the flange, because the motor specified when you order must be used.
1. Install keyless motor VRSF specification
①Remove the rubber cap and turn the input shaft to make the bolt head fit the hole of the rubber cap. And make sure that the fixing bolts are loosened.
②Insert the motor shaft into the output shaft smoothly (please make sure that it is inserted smoothly without obstruction). Be careful not to insert the motor at an angle.
③Fix the motor on the reducer and tighten the bolts with the specified torque. Refer to Table 1
④Use a torque wrench and other tools to tighten the fixing bolt of the input shaft according to the specified torque. Refer to Table 2
⑤ Put on the rubber cap. This concludes the installation.

After the key of the keyed motor is removed, it can be installed like the above-mentioned keyless motor. No need to worry about slipping.
2. Installation with keyway motor VRKF specification
①Remove the rubber cap and turn the input shaft to make the bolt head fit the hole of the rubber cap.
②Coat the motor shaft with an anti-sintering agent (molybdenum dioxide, etc.), align the key with the keyway, and insert it into the output shaft smoothly (please ensure smooth insertion without obstruction). Be careful not to insert the motor at an angle.
③Install the motor on the reducer and tighten the bolts according to the specified torque. Refer to Table 3
④Use a torque wrench and other tools to tighten the fixing bolt of the input shaft with the specified torque, and confirm that the key is pressed. Refer to Table 2
⑤ Put on the rubber cap. This concludes the installation.

■Connecting the output shaft
Precautions:
1. When installing couplers, pulleys, etc. on the output shaft, do not apply excessive axial load to the output shaft.
2. Do not use force to knock the shaft in, so as not to damage the bearing or the inside of the reducer.
3. If the shaft and keyway of the installed coupler are loose, it may cause the equipment to burn out. Please pay attention to it when installing.
4. When installing the coupler, please use the fixing screw to fix the key.
5. Please make full use of the university axis when connecting.
